Noshvia (Xuwei) Wu is a composer and sound artist based in New York City and Beijing. She holds a BA in Electronic Production and Design from Berklee College of Music and is currently completing a master's degree in Music Technology at New York University. Her experience and studies in music composition and sound art have nurtured a creative passion for experimental and electroacoustic art as a medium for self-exploration, social communication, and expressing inner consciousness beyond conventional forms and spaces.

In 2021, she participated as both composer and performer in "Hyperfest," a collaborative program between Berklee, Harvard, and MIT, hosted by composer Tod Machover. Noshvia works across various mediums including acoustic composition, computer music, and interactive projects, integrating performance art, visual elements, natural themes, and philosophical inquiry into her sound practice. Her work has been presented at festivals such as the New York City Electroacoustic Music Festival (2022) and the Aranya Theatre Festival (2023). Previously, she co-founded "Chaospace" in New York, an initiative dedicated to building community and supporting experimental collaboration among artists. As an artist, Noshvia embraces unlimited imagination and possibilities in her works and performances.

Noshvia began her musical training at a young age, starting with the Guzheng (a traditional Chinese plucked string instrument) at six years old before learning piano and electric organ. In 2012, she was admitted to the Middle School of the Central Conservatory of Music, where she completed six years of formal composition training. Her piano trio "Rendering" received a Young Talent Encouragement Special Mention at the 2014 IBLA Grand Prize. Her orchestral work "Life Like Summer Flowers," inspired by the poetry of Rabindranath Tagore, premiered in 2015. In 2017, she composed "The President" for chamber ensemble, inspired by the novel by Miguel Ángel Asturias; it was performed in Beijing the following year. That same year, she signed with Modern Sky Music. In 2020, her debut art pop album "Night Swim" was released via Modern Sky Records, featuring collaborations with Jam City, Dutch E Germ, Soul Speak, and Fishdoll.  She is preparing to release a new EP in 2025.
